Interior design is highly personal – as your designer, I know where and how you eat, sleep, shower, and live. This is all essential for me to know, so that I can create the best possible space that works for you. That said, it’s only fair you know a little bit about me, too.

I received my second bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture and Design from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. I started my design career with San Francisco’s Coddington Design in 2005. After establishing myself in SF, I moved to Los Angeles to start a family and expanded Coddington Design’s project list across sunny Southern California. In 2021, I struck out on my own and launched Tanimoto Design.

As a mom of two young daughters, I am particularly astute at designing for busy families and working moms. I look forward to learning more about you!
